Members and friends of the 'Ble Aloni' reading club present texts and books related to the wider theme of food, eating and cooking. The love for books fills an afternoon with culinary stories.

''Show me what you eat, I'll tell you where you're from!''
Four people from different countries living in Greece talk about their lives, their country and their culture. They recall memories of the food of their homeland that they miss, the people who shared it with them, moments of love, tenderness, carefreeness and joy.

''Quarrels in the kitchen - The preparation of the Easter stuffed lamb of Amorgos'' Vivianna Metallinou
''My dad, custodian of the island's culinary traditions, oversees the preparation of the filling as well as the Easter bake on Holy Saturday morning and the kitchen is on fire. Everything must be done exactly as dad says. You see mom cooking, with dad over her head. We always eavesdropped behind the closed kitchen door, which opened when the pan was ready for the oven.''
