The object of the intensive workshop for students is to investigate the process of architectural and urban planning, its starting points and its limits. The aim is to ideate original spatial propositions for the human-made environment and landscape, through coherent, synthetic architectural narratives. Special guidelines during the workshop will be the issue of food and the spaces and spatial units involved in its journey from production to consumption. Research will be done on its function as a need, as a condition for socialization and the formation of collective activity, as an activator of spaces on a small and large scale, but also as a parameter for the formation of individual identities in the public space. The outcomes of the workshop will be presented in an exhibition at the Warehouse D of Thessaloniki Port.
